The venue provides a decent PA and a qualified sound engineer, who knows the place and system. Every sound engineer had an education inside the venue so he knows the gear and place. Your own engineer is more than welcome, but please let us know in advance.

If needed, we have a small wooden pedestal or some chairs to put your amps on. We can also provide a table if necessary. Just remember that we're a small DIY venue.

Sound Level Restrictions

According to Belgian law we have a restriction in volume level of 95dB(A) LAeq, measured over 15 minutes. There is a sound level meter installed at the FOH position, displaying LAeq,slow, LCeq,15m and LAeq,15m. It's the sound technician’s responsibility to obey the law; any fines will be put on the name of the technician.

Note: Although it's perfectly possible to make a great mix on just our stuff, it's possible to bring an extra effect (or two) but there's not much room to place it. Also, we do ask you not to bring your own mixing console, since there's really no space to put it anywhere.

Cables

We provide enough XLR's, IEC power cords and power bars. The international standard for power plugs in Belgium is CEE 7/7, we have no adapters at the venue!

We have a box with all kinds of misc. audio cables and connections, but if you need something specific, please provide it yourself or reach out beforehand.

By default, the DJ booth is installed next to the bar. Upon request, we can set it up on stage, using a mobile DJ booth measuring 148cm x 49.5cm x 95cm (L x W x H).

There is a projection screen spanning almost the full width of the stage. We have a beamer available that can be ceiling mounted. If you need to use the beamer please ask us at least 1 week before the show. Please provide your own laptop for your visuals.
