Failed (BE)

Belgian cold wave trio FAILED emerges from the darker edges of post-punk and dark wave, combining stark intensity with a restrained, atmospheric tension. Their sound is minimal, urgent, and emotionally distant, built on mood rather than excess. Their debut single “Sentimental”, produced by Belgian musician and producer Mario Goossens, will be released on January 30, 2026 via Concha Records. Rooted in Belgium’s underground scene, FAILED aligns with the current European cold wave resurgence, prioritising atmosphere, repetition, and emotional detachment over overt narrative.

Radar Machine (NL)

Radar Machine creates dark, melodic guitar driven music with influences from post-punk, new wave, and alternative rock. Blending danceable grooves, tight rhythms, nervous guitars, and emotionally charged vocals. The band delivers an intense live experience that builds, holds tension, and never lets go. Rather than looking back, Radar Machine offers a contemporary interpretation of post-punk.

The Dark Wave (NL)

The Dark Wave; the band that turned record shop dreams into pure post-punk magic.

All six of them once dreamt of it: standing amongst the dusty sleeves and black vinyl records, in a record shop where the air smells of the past and the future. But when that didn’t work out, they took a different approach. The Dark Wave turned the turntables upside down and started making music themselves – music that sounds like the records they’ve always loved.

With a sound that breathes new life into the iconic post-punk and new wave of the 80s, but with a contemporary twist, The Dark Wave are not just any band. This sextet, in their current line-up since late 2023, fuses Britpop bravura and goth nostalgia into an intense, compelling sound. But their lyrics? Those are firmly rooted in the present: about media addiction, war refugees and loneliness.

Every single, starting with their debut Seventeen (released via indie label Walboomers Music), immediately climbed IndieXL’s Indie Chart, attracted international attention and was played on indie radio stations worldwide. Spotify featured their tracks on the popular New Alternative playlist for months on end.

Following an impressive 2025 on Dutch and Belgian stages and a powerful performance at Eurosonic 2026, The Dark Wave are now releasing their debut EP, Trapped Behind Glass Walls, on vinyl, featuring all seven singles, including the latest: Alone.
